Casey Barnett, CFA, FCCA, MBA

Teaching F3/FFA Financial Accounting

Casey is the President of CamEd Business School as well as a lecturer. He was a World Bank consultant in the area of public sector financial reporting. He is an expert in IFRS and trains finance professionals from esteemed multinationals such as PwC, KPMG and E&Y. He is an advisor to the National Accounting Council. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School. He is a CFA charterholder.
Douglas Froggatt
Teaching FA1 Recording Financial Transactions, FA2 Maintaining Financial Records, FMA Management Accounting and FFA Financial Accounting
Douglas comes to Cambodia after working as a senior auditor in the UK. Douglas has served as interim Director of CamEd, technical assistant of an aid organization within the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Senior Auditor in Arnold Hill and Brand Manager and Examination Coordinator of ACE. He holds a BSc Mathematics from Imperial College and is an Associate Member of The Royal College of Science.
Dr. Juliet Cadungog-Uy
Teaching FAB Accountant in Business and MA2 Managing Costs and Finances
Dr. Uy has proven masterful in concisely teaching the volume of management and business knowledge for the ACCA F1 exam. Her students earn high scores and award her high evaluations in return. Dr. Uy was formerly a lecturer and the Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy of Negros Oriental State University. She is an associate member of the National Research Council of the Philippines and a member of the Philippines Council of Deans and Educator in Business. Well qualified, Dr. Uy holds a Doctor of Management, a Master of Arts in Education, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Law.
Ho Varabott, MA, CEFA
Teaching FFM Foundations in Financial Management
Before joining CamEd Business School, Varabott has worked for Leopard Capital Asia primarily focused on frontier markets and previously 18 years in major international financial institutions such as Credit Suisse, Aberdeen, Banque Hottinguer and AXA. His overall experience encompasses private equity, private banking, asset management, bancassurance and investment banking across Europe & Asia. He holds an MBA from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business and is a Certified EFFAS/CIIA (European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies) Financial Analyst.

Maria Isabelita C. Manzon-Cabrera, CPA, MDE

Teaching FMA/F2 (Management Accounting)

Maria Isabelita is a Certified Public Accountant with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting which she achieved with the honors of magna cum laude and valedictorian.  She has had the highest score in Accounting Theory in the Philippine CPA exams.  She holds a Master of Distance Education degree from the University of the Philippines Open University.  She is also a Kindermusik-Licensed Educator in USA.  She has worked with the leading audit firm in the Philippines – Sycip, Gores, Velayo & Company.  Her work experience covers 15 years of multinational exposure in accounting, marketing, training, continuous education, administration & customer services both in supervisory and management capacity.  Currently, she is an Executive Director and Audit Partner with a national audit firm in Cambodia.

Dr. Muhammad M. Ma'aji

Teaching Management Information (MA1)

Muhammad M. Ma'aji a Ph.D. Finance Candidate at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) has achieved MSc. Finance at UUM and B.A. (Hons) Accounting & Finance at University of Greenwich, UK. He worked as a research assistance for the Centre for University-Industry Collaboration (CUIC) UUM, where he fully participated in two National Research Grant awarded by Ministry of Higher Education and Ministry of Rural and Regional Development, Malaysia. He has also worked as an account assistance for Gidauniya Investment & Securities LTD and Saleh A.D. & Co both in Nigeria. Ma’aji is a lecturer and a scholar in the field of finance and accounting. He has successfully published research articles in well-known high impact international journals. His areas of research interest include financial distress, bankruptcy prediction, corporate governance, cross-listing, international finance and corporate finance.

Song Seiha, ACCA

Song Seiha is currently a manager in PwC Cambodia and has over eight years experience in assurance services including one year and a half secondment to PwC Malaysia specialising in a financial service industry. He is also one of the internal assurance instructors at PwC Cambodia. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
